Design your own Dreamcatcher
with Kaina Morais (Native Soul Art)
Learn to create your own bohemian-inspired dreamcatcher!
Traditionally placed above one's bed, dreamcatchers are said to catch any bad dreams or negative thoughts in their delicate web, releasing them into the first rays of the daylight sun. Added feathers, ribbons, or seashells help to make each and every dreamcatcher unique to their owner.
Join Kai, of Native Soul Art, as she teaches you how to make your own beautiful dreamcatcher. Using upcycled lace, and decorated with ribbons, leather, feathers, beads and other treasures, Kai will demonstrate step by step, how to weave and construct a dreamcatcher that is uniquely YOU!
You will be provided with all the materials and learn the basic techniques to create your own catcher.
Kaina is a self-taught Brazilian artist, who has spent the last 9 years living in Sydney. Growing up in Olinda, one of the most artistic cities in Brazil, she was born and raised with creativity in her veins, and hasn't stopped creating since!
With a background in interior design, Kai started Native Soul Art to share her love of art and her love of creating. Kai's art is a means of active meditation, drawing inspiration from nature; the sun, the moon, and the salty seas. Her work allows her to explore her love of making through jewellery, painting, drawing, illustration, and dreamcatcher designing.
