In this DIY Resin Art workshop, you will be guided through the entire process in a hands-on class and create your very own resin artwork. You will be provided with a 50cm round panel and all the dyes, pigments and pearlescent powders needed to create artworks with epoxy resin. Reba will be demonstrating how to work with the epoxy resin and how to mix colours and techniques for applying and creating designs.

Attended the Saturday group. I found it very interesting and informative. I was already doing resin art at home but having trouble with lacing or cells. I saw how to do this using different gels and metallic pigments. On the whole I would give the workshop 99% I think that it would have been beneficial for the group to hear that not all resins are created equal. An explanation of how toxic some resin is and requires respirator and safety gloves to use. Others in the group were asking me about cheese boards etc. Participants need to know which resins are food safe, and which are not. Maybe this workshop was to promote the low voc resin that we used but not everyone is clued up on why we were using that resin. I loved the venue, We had a really communicative teacher and it was a really enjoyable afternoon.

The DIY Resin Art was above expectations. The facilitator, Sophie, was excellent. It was one of the best short workshops I have attended (and I have attended many). The venue WOTSO was great, roomy and comfortable. We were twelve in the class and it was a perfect number of students. We all came away with a beautiful piece of art and the knowledge to do more. From beginning to end the experience was extremely professional, and thanks to Nicole too for making everything run smoothly. Great job.
