Description

Welcome to An afternoon of Cut and Paste- an introduction into making analog collages, run by the Sydney Collage Society! The three hour afternoon workshop will provide you with the practical skills and techniques used to make analog collages.

Students will learn about specific types of collage, using colour, texture, form and image placement. We'll give you tips to look out for when sourcing materials and glueing work will also be discussed. By the end of the class, students will have completed various collages in different styles.

You'll have 3 hours to run wild, be wickedly creative, and make as many badass collages as your heart desires.

A glass of red wine will be supplied by Cake Wines, but feel free to BYO if you'd like a little more!

About SCS:

With numerous shows under their belts, including workshops with the Art Gallery of NSW and The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in 2018, the SCS is here to represent and share their love of collage!

24 June 2019 • An afternoon of Cut and Paste

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and arty surroundings at my An Afternoon of Cut and Paste workshop. The class was a lot of fun, and there were plentiful good resources to find images for my collages. It was great leaving the class with several completed collages to take home, and the supplied glass of red wine was a perfect touch. Gillian
